Formed '74 as the Swankers w/ v-Jones, g-Wally Nightingale (=Elvis Costello), b-Glen Matlock (later Rich Kids), Cook.
8/75 Wally left, added Rotten & Nick Kent, named Sex Pistols. Steve New (later Rich Kids) once in the band then.
11/75 Kent left to form the Subterraneans. 3/77 sacked Matlock, added Vicious (ex. drummer of Siouxsie & The Banshees).
14/1/78 Rotten announced the band's split up during US tour.
